Review of Cintas Corporation Acquisition of G&K Services, Inc.

An Analysis Group team led by Managing Principals Emily Cotton and Rebecca Kirk Fair was retained on behalf of uniform rental and laundry service providers Cintas and G&K Services, in connection with Cintas’s proposed acquisition of G&K Services’ outstanding shares. An Analysis Group team evaluated the competitive effects of the acquisition – considering both national and local geographic markets – and assisted the parties through the Second Request phase of the regulatory review by the Competition Bureau of Canada and the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC). The transaction was approved in both the US and Canada with no divestiture requirements.
