Review of PSAV Acquisition of Encore Event Technologies

Analysis Group was retained on behalf of both Blackstone Capital Partners (in support of its portfolio company PSAV) and Encore Event Technologies, both event production and technology providers, to assess the competitive effects of their proposed merger in the US and Canada. Analysis Group supported both parties through the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Second Request and Competition Bureau of Canada Supplemental Information Request.

An Analysis Group team led by Managing Principals Emily Cotton and Rebecca Kirk Fair analyzed the impact of the merger on the meeting and event production industry in the US and Canada. The transaction obtained unconditional clearance from both agencies.
