Summary of Experience

Mr. Bender specializes in the application of economic and financial theory to complex securities and finance litigations, antitrust and competition matters, and strategy and analytics. His finance experience includes bankruptcy litigation, securities and asset valuation, and bondholder disputes. In his work on City of Philadelphia, et al. v. Bank of America, et al., Mr. Bender analyzed short-term municipal bond markets, interest rates, and hedging instruments, providing data analyses and consulting support to a testifying expert and counsel for a joint defense group. He has also worked on bankruptcy settlement proceedings, including a multidistrict matter assessing solvency and claims involving asset distributions. Mr. Bender’s work spans multiple industries, including pharmaceuticals, banking, insurance, technology, real estate, and consumer goods.
