Summary of Experience
Dr. Cornwall is a health economist who specializes in the application and interpretation of state-of-the art models, including machine learning and Bayesian models, as well as the management of complex software projects. In health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), he has applied machine learning models to electronic medical record data in the contexts of cirrhosis, pulmonary arterial hypertension, major depressive disorder with suicidal ideation, and various dermatological conditions. Dr. Cornwall has also led the development of several HEOR web applications that have improved reliability and cost effectiveness of patient treatment and care. Additionally, he has applied hierarchical Bayesian and mixed logit models in the analysis of survey data in litigation contexts, including health litigation.
