Summary of Experience
Ms. Faye applies her background and analytical skills in economics and finance to solve complex issues in litigation and business matters. She has consulted to numerous clients in the US and Canada on a variety of engagements involving allegations of anticompetitive behavior and other antitrust matters, securities- and finance-related litigation, and strategy and arbitration matters. These engagements often include court proceedings, and Ms. Faye has vast experience collaborating with academic and industry experts in evaluating litigation claims and developing well-grounded affirmative and rebuttal arguments. In antitrust matters, she has analyzed allegations of market abuse and anticompetitive practices in a broad range of industries, including banking, high tech, retail, and consumer goods. In finance matters, she has assessed claims of misrepresentation and omission, price manipulation, and insider trading on different stock exchanges. In 2022, Ms. Faye was appointed to serve as counsel to the chair of the American Bar Association’s (ABA’s) Antitrust Section for a two-year term. Ms. Faye has been invited to speak before the ABA, the Canadian Bar Association, and the New York State Bar Association on antitrust and competition topics, technology markets, and sustainability issues.
