Summary of Experience

Mr. Meythaler has more than 40 years of experience as an institutional investment professional, including providing consulting and outsourced chief investment officer (OCIO) services to defined benefit pension plans, defined contribution retirement plans, foundations, and endowments. His investment consulting experience includes a total of nearly two decades at Mercer, SEI, and Shepherd Kaplan, as well as serving as a 3(21) advisory consultant and a 3(38) manager. He has extensive experience working with investment committees, developing asset allocations, selecting manager/fund options, analyzing governance processes, and designing appropriate governance options for defined benefit and defined contribution plans. His asset management experience includes serving in senior positions at Fred Alger Investment Management, ING Investment Management, and New England Investment Companies. He has provided investment governance consultation to various investment firms and has served as an expert witness on matters related to investment governance and fiduciary process. Prior to his work as an independent consultant, he was a principal at Mercer Investment Manager, where he helped grow its OCIO and advisory business in the Northeast US. Mr. Meythaler holds the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7 license.
